On the 16th of January 2024, we officially launched our website dawnsupport.co.uk. With the help from James Belcher (Logo Designer) and Jai (Web Designer), we were able to work like a well oiled machine to get the website looking and functioning exactly as we envisioned. All the documents that can be found here have been designed and created from scratch by our Directors who wanted to make sure everything was as easily accessible as possible. We continue to make adjustments to our website everyday to make sure it is user friendly and up to date.
On Wednesday the 28th of February 2024, we published our DAWN Autism Passport. Our main aim when creating this passport was to help those with autism have an easy way to communicate their needs and social requirements when in public whilst avoiding the confrontation that so many fear. The passport is free to download on our website and can be found here. We also provide a service of printing and delivery a hard copy of this passport for a small donation of £3.50. Please click here to find out more. We would like to thank Anna Kennedy and Green Square Design for making this possible.
We have received funding from Grassroots Charity, which enabled us to put on free PIP Personal Independence Payment) workshops, including resources. The feedback was positive, with people requesting more workshops. We would like to thank Grassroots for their generous support, enabling individuals to confidently apply for PIP.
